Singapore and Melaka Straits – by Nicola

This is me with my mummy and daddy in a rainforest near Kuching. The name of the rainforest was Bako National Park.We saw a huge pig (wild boar) in the forest and some fish in the rivers which were red because of all the leaves. On the beach we picked up some long pointy shells – they were very sharp and beautiful. We had leave them behind though as it was a National Park.

This is me on a jetski in Singapore. It was great fun because every time a big boat went past we drove into the waves and I got soooo wet. The jetski was part of a party they were having at One15 Marina where we left Tui Tai.

Singapore and Melaka Straits

One frequent question we get asked is how much time we actually spend on the boat – up until last month this was simple. In the six months to October we spent every day on the Tui Tai bar 11. October saw a major change as we hit Singapore and the Malacca Straits – in the whole month only 11 days were spend on the boat! Trips to Phuket, Malacca and a flying visit to Hong Kong plus some fantastic hospitality in Singapore allowed us to park Tui Tai as we had a whirlwind month of social engagements and catching up with friends.
